In continuarea ultimei postări, serviti un comment de pe Guardian, asa de bun că n-am rezistat să nu-l dau mai departe:
Chronic underachievers hire a serial winner with arguably the best CV in world football. A champion everywhere he’s been. His job is to coach the chronic underachievers to world cup glory. The serial winner turns round the fortunes of the chronic underachievers to the point where they qualify having scored more goals than any other European team in the qualifying round.
They reach the world cup and the pressure gets to the chronic underachievers. The serial winner hasn’t changed anything since winning in qualifying, but the chronic underachievers play appallingly. The chronic underachievers then turn round and say the reason that they’re chronically underachieving is down to the methods of the serial winner, despite the serial winner’s methods working in qualifying and working at every other job he’s ever had. They don’t think the reason they’re underachieving is that they have always underachieved and underachieving is their par performance.
They blame the serial winner because his methods are too far removed from the methods of the serial losers that have managed them in the past. The chronic underachievers say they would be overachieving if things returned to how it was under the serial losers.
The media now want to get rid of the serial winner and return to the methods endorsed by the serial losers that have led to years and years of embarrassment, underachievement and ridicule.
Welcome to team England.
